A very nice proprietor is what makes this place rock. He is the real deal, from Greece, and preparing the best Lamb Gyros sandwiches on Pita Bread and Sweet, flaky Baclava for desert. It's directly across the street from the University Drive McDonald's fast food restaurant. Cheers, Mark F.

We love Yummy's! Regularly on our order is a Gyro Dinner, any kind of sandwich, onion rings, feta fries & fried mushrooms. This is exactly what we ordered tonight and it was $50 - so much food, so good and for a great price. We will always continue to come back!!!!

Service is quick. Food delicious and reasonably price. Ambiance ia alright. Its family owned. Their baklava is the best! The gyro is so good!!!

Yummys is still super yummy. Haven't been here in 10 years and every bit as good as I remember. Had the gyro plate w a salad. Wish I'd had more folks with me to sample more of the menu. Gyro and pita were great. Salad delicious and tzatziki as well. Would go all the time if I lived in Denton!

Gyros, gyros, gyros!! So I believe this place is a staple in the Denton area, def been around about 10 years. Very cute, quaint little place!! Just happened to be driving by and decided I needed a gyro. I always like to research through Yelp before I order because I'm so indecisive and would end up getting 6 things. Guess that's not a bad thing, haha! Just a tip, the online menu has other options from the in-store menu which they accommodate!! My husband ordered the gyro with hummus and fried cauliflower and I ordered the gyro with the babaganoush and fried zucchini with extra pit and tzatziki. The gyros were perfect and had so much meat and sauce!! We were pleased. The cauliflower was delicious and hummus was creamy and you could tell it was freshly made. Babaganoush was very, very smoky and dipped my gyro in it for an extra explosion of yum. Loved the zucchini, I just wish there was more than 2 tiny discs. But other than that, the portions were plentiful and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It's def more of a fast food type of place, which it was very quick so plus for those who want to be in and back to school/work for lunch!!

Flavours were great and unlike many places that make the meat dry, this was nice and moist

Best Greek food I've had in years. The service was great too. Had the falafel plate and every part was perfection, we even took an appetizer of dolmas to have later except we were so full so we ate it on the following day.

Visiting Denton and we stopped here to grab something to eat. Small restaurant very unassuming from the outside. Very clean restaurant on the inside and was immediately greeted when walked in. Could tell it was family run restaurant. Everyone was very polite and friendly. Our waiter was very nice and patient with us. I first ordered the Greek Coffee. Really good but super strong. The waiter told a story about how the coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup could tell my fortune. Great personal touch and conversation starter. I ordered the Gyro Dinner. Everything tasted great and fresh. My kid looks at me and says "that was good I could eat another gyro". Will definitely be going back.

A fantastic, modest Greek restaurant that's been around for a long time. Reasonably priced, with lots of combo options for personal portions. I got the combo #6, which was gyro sandwich with Baba ghanoush and pita bread. Lots of bold, savory flavors here! My only complaint is it is a little greasy and salty once all is said and done.
